Our Ottawa Podcast Studio

audio & Video Recording at our studio

Our downtown Ottawa studio offers a comfortable, professional environment for your audio and video recording needs. Whether in studio or recording remotely, our producers are here to guide you through the process.

1. Choose a Studio Layout

Standard

Four armchairs in a panel configuration with a TV displaying a still image of your choice. Multi-camera recording with closeups on each group of 2 chairs plus wide shot of everyone (pictured above). Can be modified for 2 or 3 participants as well (see camera angles below).

Solo Video

One chair with a TV in the background displaying a still image of your choice.

Please specify one of the two possible layouts above when booking. Given the constraints of the space, we cannot accommodate custom layouts and scenarios beyond those detailed here (i.e. changing chair, table, or camera positions).

2. Choose Audio or Video

Our studio sessions come with or without video recording:

Remote Connections

We connect people recording in the studio with remote guests via Zoom or Riverside (a link will be provided when you book a session). A screen in the studio will display remote guests. Please specify the number of remote guests when booking your session.

Teleprompter

our teleprompter

Our teleprompter makes it easy to read scripts while looking into the camera. Please submit your script at least 24 hours in advance of your studio session so that we have time to load it into the system.

Live Webinar

We can help record webinar participants in our studio and those connecting remotely, but we are limited in the following ways:

  • Webinars must be organized and hosted by YOU, and must use the Zoom platform (we are unable to provide support for other platforms at this time).

  • You must invite hello@popuppodcasting.ca to be a panelist on your webinar prior to the event. This ensures we have access to the pre-live area in order to do our pre-show tech checks.

  • Once we join the webinar, your host must give us permission to record.
